Hi. My name is Tauheedah Hamilton I am a proud wife, mother of two, and grandmother of my beautiful granddaughter Harmony Rose. I am a proud Army mom, and I love to volunteer for my community. I tutor elementary school aged children in reading and writing, my passions are helping kids be the best at reading, and helping nonprofits find the funding that is needed to provide the best service for their community.
Being a part of Lived2Tell is an honor. Being a caregiver of 2 cancer warriors give me the opportunity to tell my story, and to help other caregivers know they are not alone when caring for their loved ones. My mother survived breast and uterine cancer, and my sister survived breast cancer. Being with them during their treatments and watching them at such a vulnerable state allowed me to be strong, and courageous; and I know being a part of Lived2Tell will allow me to continue to do so.
Volunteering and donating to Lived2Tell will help our mission with providing services to cancer patients who are at risk of not getting the support that is critical to their well-being and healing. Cancer warriors need help with day-to-day services which can include financial medical support, transportation, moral support, housekeeping, etc. Being a caregiver to my mom and sister allowed me to see firsthand how assisting with these tasks can help relieve some of their stresses.
